2007 Predicted Time Results
by Marty Mazur
A "predicted time" contest was held in the last race of the Indoor Mile
Series. The contest was close yet again this year, with several runners
coming within a second of their predicted times. But Judd Michael, who
is not only getting faster each year, but more accurate, won for the
second straight year. His time of 5:03.62 was only 0.38 seconds off his
predicted time of 5:04. Vicki Summers was second, running her mile in
0.43 seconds slower than her predicted 7-flat. And Metronome Marty
Klanchar, a past winner, was again close, running just 0.76 seconds
slower than his predicted time of 5:50.
