2011 Nittany Valley Running Club Indoor Mile Series Results

Another Record-Breaking Year!

This year was a lot like last in terms of records. Last year a Club record was broken at every race. This year, it was nearly so. The Mens Open and Masters individual mile and Series records are now held by the same person, Nick Berra of Harrisburg. The women's 3K record was also significantly lowered by Cassi Knight. Participation was also a record, with over 70 runners (60 men and 13 women) doing at least one race and 35 (31 men and 4 women) doing two or more..

Here are the results for this years Indoor Mile Series, which adds each runners best two times. Runners who only started one race get NVRC Race Series Cup get "Participant" points. Runners who finished at least two races get "Finisher" points, or better depending on how they placed in the overall Open or Masters standings. All starters in the 3K run get Series Cup points depending on their finish.
