NVRC and PSU Club Cross-Country to Host Labor Day Races

The Nittany Valley Running Club is excited to announce our first official LIVE Club race in over a year and a half! We are teaming with PSU Club Cross-Country to put on 5K and 5 Mile races on Labor Day weekend. The races will be on Saturday, September at 9 AM. Registration is $20. The races will be on specially designed courses in Boalsburg, PA, starting at the Pennsylvania Military Museum. T-shirts to all registrants.
The beneficiaries of the Labor Day race will be the NVRC and the PSU XC Club. The pandemic has hit the pocket books of both organizations hard. The usual fundraiser for the NVRC is the Arts Festival race, and that event has been canceled the last two years. The NVRC relies on funds from that race to help us support local running and youth training activities. The PSU XC Club has also not been able to engage in its normal fundraising activities. So if you’re itching to get out and race, lace up on September 4!
