The Nittany Valley Running Club web site is the place to go for information about races, running groups, running routes, training opportunities, email discussion groups, and pretty much everything having to do with running in Central Pennsylvania! - Bimonthly electronic newsletter. For an additional fee, a paper copy can be mailed.
- A 10% discount at Rapid Transit Sports.
- A $1 discount on registration fees at Club sponsored races.

Club Meetings

The Club meets on the first Tuesday of every even month (February, April, June, August, October, and December) at 6:30 at HiWay Pizza on North Atherton.
The NVRC meetings tend to be pretty free-wheeling affairs. If you have a particular thing you'd like to bring to the Club's attention, come to the meeting, or email John Iceland at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
If you're interested in what we do at these meetings besides eat pizza and drink beer, an agenda will be posted a week or two before the meeting, or you can visit the meeting minutes page. You'll hear of plenty of opportunities to participate at the club meetings, but a few current areas where we need immediate help are listed below.
Club Picnic: Once a year, the NVRC holds a Club picnic in conjunction with one of its summertime meetings, usually the August meeting. The Club usually provides some of the food and drinks, but members also bring food to share.

Welcome! The Nittany Valley Running Club invites you to join our club or renew a current membership. Our membership period runs from January 1 through December 31. If you are already a member, the Membership Director will send you an email notifying you when it's time to renew. On-line membership is handled by RunSignUp.com which charges a small additional processing fee. You can join or renew on-line by clicking here. Membership fees are as follows:
